Devil’s Dash FAQ

Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens is a 501(c)(3) non-profit botanical garden in Williston, Florida created as a result of one man’s vision. The gardens were designed upon a 100 year old retired lime rock quarry from the early 1900’s. Dr. Ray Webber discovered the 100 acre property in 1990 and established the idea to construct a giant fish pond. The pond was created, placing each rock by hand and using wagons and wheelbarrows for transporting materials. Near the completion of the fish pond, Dr. Webber took up gardening as his hobby and after 23 years of dedicated labor and creativity, Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens was founded. Now a place for public enjoyment, Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens is dedicated to its mission of preserving peoples’ appreciation for nature, caring for rescued animals, and restoring hope for beauty and compassion. Devil's Dash is Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens' first eco-friendly adventure race event occurring January 7, 2017. With over 20 obstacles, some natural and some created through recycled or upcycled materials, Devil's Dash will be Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens' most daring event of the year! This race is unlike anything you've ever experienced in Florida. All funds collected from Devil's Dash will be applied to our rescued animal care and development of new environmental education programs.
